After 146 years of continuous, daily publication, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, more commonly known as the P-I, will print its last paper edition tonight for distribution on Tuesday.
This is likely the first of many conversions from old- to new-media as newspapers across the country (and likely world-wide) discover that most people are getting their news on-line. Most of us have known this for awhile, but hey, old-media barrons are always the slowest to move (just look at the record industry!).
